have a Fisher & Paykel GW771 that will not run?

I have a Fisher & Paykel Model No: GW711 Excellence. What's happening is you set the programe to what you want and press start. The water start's filling the bowl but the bowl dosn't turn while filling as it normally dose, then once full and the water stops filling, the adjutator should start, this is were it dose nothing. The lights are still on, it's if its just paused. I have pressed all buttons to try get it going, even turnd off and back on again. Also as I was writing to you it started to beep, checked it out and found that the lid light was on and 3 of the green wash cycle lights where on and flashing with the beeping. have turned it off at the wall now.

Cheers

P.S. When I turned it off at the wall, the adjutator moved slightly as well. Thanks.

I ended up having to replace the RPS ($63) and the motor controller board ($168). Ouch!!!

We have the same problem with our GW711. The fault code is 00111000 (56) which apparently is the rotor position sensor.

Hi Lincoln Appliance NZ,

The light that were flashing are the last 3 green light out of the 5 green lights on the wash cycle.
Hope this is what you are looking for.
Also I had the washer off at the wall for a couple of hours and when turned back on all came good again and has been ever since. My partner has informed me that this is not the first time it has happened. She also had turned it of at the wall and came good again.

You need to tell me exactly which lights were on along the top row when the beeping starts. That is the fault code. Without it I can't help.
