How can I fix it?

My Wardrobe door has fell off. It has three barrel hinges which have come out of the carcass and will not screw back in ( I think the threads have gone ). I have thought of inserting some plastic screw plugs into the holes but I don't know which ones to get or if this is the right thing to do. Help!

It sounds like the wardrobe door is made from veneered chipboard, and the hinge threads have pulled out, leaving a larger hole? Repairs aren't easy with this material, and I don't think that plastic plugs are the way to go. Two ideas: 1) Move the position of the barrel hinges either up or down to fix to solid material (naturally the door hinge will have to be moved too) 2) Replace the barrel hinges with the more conventional butt hinge.
