Electrolux Fridge RM 6271L will not stay lit on gas ok on12v & 240v?

Fridge has auto ignition which do'es work. When you select gas, ignition starts clicking & ignition lamp flashes when you press in thermastat knob you can hear pilot light & burn and auto ignition stops. However, when you release thermastat knob after 15+ seconds flame must go out because auto ignition comes in again. Motor home is level!

Had the similar problem a while ago whilst we were in France, upon our return had my son (Corgi Reg.) replace the Thermocouple, works a treat now,,,

Try placing a vacuum cleaner hose over the burner outlet, this has worked each season for me.

Hope this helps. can only be the thermocouple faulty or the gas valve it self.try removing the plastic knob that you push in and press the metal part of the valve in without the knob on.the valve has to be pushed right in for it to work but sometimes you will get a little wear over time only a mil or so but its enough.i just put a small piece of paper into the back of the knob so it presses all the way home.let me know if this works as its helped a lot of people

I,v got exactly the same problem, have looked on RV websites and they tell you to blow out burner with compressed air & generally clean with alcahol, this has,nt worked so I think it must be a dodgy thermo couple which I was just looking for when I spotted your question, let me know how you get on.
