Replacing the timer on a Maytag washing machine?

I need to repair the timer on my Maytag washing machine (model # LAT9356AAE). Is this difficult to replace? Can you email me instructions? Or would I be better of purchasing a new washing machine?

Hello,

Pop off the lttle cover on the timer knob. Then take clip off thats behind it. Behind the knob you'll see two screws to romove to get timer out.
