my vauxhall vectra 1.6 runs as if choke is on when warm seems to be flooding ,causing lose of power & increased full consumption no warning lights shows ,have changed ecg valve & water sensor . Have been to garage but told if no warning light shows this problem will not show on a diagnostic test any ideas please.

paul diagnostic machines are only as good as there operators i am afraid .even if there are no fault codes a half sharp technician should be able to diagnose your fault by checking specific values associated with different sensors /carefully check the small vaccum pipes at the rear of your engine for splits especially the pipe that leads to your fuel pressure regulator before you do anything else after that try another garage
