Makita 14.4v drill electronic brake - which part do I need?

My Makita drill was working fine untill I noticed it kept spinning after releasing the trigger.

Is the brake part of the gear box or motor or seperate.
(not tried to take it appart yet...)

Thanks,

You just need a new switch. If you give me a model # I can give you a part # you will need or you can check out the breakdowns yourself on my website and see what switch you need for your Makita drill. Just type in your Makita model # and a parts diagram should come up.
Good luck!
