I think I broke my Boss's DX 18OD ?

I am freaking out. I spent an hour shredding the other day and I kept having to reverse and I oiled it, left it unplugged for an hour and it is not owrking now for 3 days. What can I do?

Did your boss have the forsight to take out an extended warrantee? If he takes the trouble to 'Google' DX180D he will find pages of problems reported about this shredder.
Deny everything and tell him to buy a new shreder that is as job capable as you. Cos your worth it!

Tell your boss you are only prepared to work with equipment that can meet the demands you require.
If he (your boss) chooses to buy a lightweight paper shreder then expects it to work for hours on end then he is nothing but a cheapskate. Don't worry

You did not break your Bosses shredder - you found it to be broken when you came to use it - tell the boss it's broken and get on with your life. Freaking out will not solve anything - consider counselling for your inferiority complex - you are very probably a much better person than your boss.

If by some chance you are to blame - admit nothing.

Check that any fuses in the machine or cord are ok - then deny any knowledge of a problem!
