dripping o/flow pipe?

i have a ravenheat boiler we are fi=orever having to top it up we notice an overflow pipe drips continually we also have to have the central heating on to get hot water could it be the diaphragm?

i have worcester combi 28i greestar when i put central heating on the pressure gague needle starts rising when it goes above 2 the prv valve starts leaking hot water out sidewhen the central heating is running for half an hour the water gague needle startsdropingbelow 2mark so after a few days i have to top water up back to 2 what is the probilum

A dripping overflow means that the pressure relief valve - which opens at around 3 bar - isn't sealing correctly. Common fault as they only operate once in a blue moon, if that. If your boiler pressure is constantly rising though, that indicates another problem.
