THE GLASS ON MY ELECTROLUX OVEN DOOR AS BECOME UNSTUCK?

EOB966BK. The glass has become unstuck at the bottom of the door, is there way it can be re-stuck, what should I buy, some type of heat resistance glue? Otherwise a new door is quite expensive...

The correct adhesive is supplied by a company, if you do a google search for ovendoorglue (without spaces) you will find them.
They provide a kit by mail order to repair your oven door, at a reasonable price.

I used Black RTV Silicone Instant Gasket from Pro Seal. A bit messy, but it works. Happy fixing!!

I've just repaired my Whirlpool oven door using high temperature silicone. First I removed the door from the oven. To access the inner glass, (which had come loose,) I had to remove the outer door panel which was held in plkace by two screws and a sealing strip. I then removed the inner glass which was held in place solely with a sealing strip. I thoroughly cleaned all parts with a degreaser and removed all traces of sealing strip. I then re-assembled the door using high temperature silicone sealant good up to 300C, (I bought it from the market.) I fitted the inner door glass, (using only the high temp silicone,) first and then placed a weight on it and waited 24 hours for it to cure. Then I fitted the outer door glass using the two screws and the silicone, waited 24 hours and re-attached the door to the oven. This job was VERY easy - 10 times easier than sealing the bath!!!

I'm not so sure on the standard silicone solution I don't think it would stand up well to the heat, best to go to a cooker Sale / spares shop and ask them what to use.
