First disconnect your battery. Then while on the right side of the ski, reach over with your left hand and reach down to the lowest part of your engine block. the starter is the round thing bolted to the block.
It is held on with 2 bolts, I think they are 12mm heads on them. The top bolt also has the ground cable attached..
The bolts are stacked at the back of starter.
Once bolts are out you must wiggle starter and pull towards rear of ski.
Starter has a o-ring seal on snout. It will move slowly and take effort.
Make sure you have some grease on new o-ring when installing new starter.
