tiger loop?

hi have relocated my oil tank and it slightly lower then the boiler i have purchased a tiger loop but i only have a one pipe system (no return) and its a bottom feed can the loop be fitted to a one pipe system no one know?? if so anyone got a diagram its a reilo burner

yes you can add the tiger at the furnace after the oil filter, connect to supply the way it is now then pipe the return from the other connection....dont forget the bypass plug. the fireomatic valve mentioned in other answers should have come with the tiger and should be installed before the tiger loop. this is definitely a job for a pro

IT'S DEFINATELY BEST DONE BY AN OFTEC ENGINEER, AND WHILE ABOUT IT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A REMOTE FIRE VALVE FITTED

you need to convert the oil pump to a two pipe system.

The tiger loop basically makes it a 2 pipe, you need an extra flexi hose to connect to the pump and you will need to do something to the pump (usually removing a washer or adding a grub screw). Depends what burner you have.

If you are fiddling with the oil pump, please take care, it's probably best done by an OFTEC engineer.
