if i uninstall my webcam can i reinstall it??

(its a integrated webcam on a advent laptop and there is no CD ROM)

when i got the laptop at christmas it worked then it just stopped iv went to the
control panel-> maintenance-> systems-> hardware-> imaging devices-> update driver!!!!!
and still this wont work,

i was going to uninstall it but im not sure if i can reinstall it,

plaese can someone help????????
