Where is the rain water getting in?

I have a 2001 Ford Escort 75 Van and when it has been sitting parked in the rain overnight the next morning there are puddles in the drivers and passenger's footwells. I can't see where the rain is getting in. Has anyone got any ideas as to the most likley route for the water to get in?

Thanks

Thanks. I finally found the leak. the door seal rubbers were no longer a tight fit so letting in water. Now fixed.

check membranes between doors and trim panels-if missing, damaged or not stuck around sides and bottom will allow water to enter van. also make sure that heater intake is not filling with water [hinged rubber flap may be stuck] also check under battery for corrosion!
