As I just wrote in another post, go to Ebay and search for Briggs manual on CD. They cover most engines but if you email the seller/s with your model number, they should advise if yours is covered. Cost varies from $12 - $15 with postage. They are worth every cent!

Have you got your picture yet of the spring set up for the carb, ( I presume you mean the 2 springs that attach to the top, 1 small maybe 1 " long and delicate looking one maybe 2" slightly heavier looking but easy to stretch??)
