My Worchester 24i RSF stopped giving heat to radiators & intermittant water?

Had a room thermostat on the boiler, heating was fine but hot water was intermittant and kept running cold. If room thermostat disconnected then the boiler doesnt provide heat to radiators and the hot water is still very very intermittant. Any suggestions on what could be wrong, difficulty of repair and costs likely involved??

Thanks

if you disconnect a room stat you usually have to put a link in between the terminals you take the stat from on the boiler or heating will not work, as for hot water if i remember right this boiler has a flow switch on the hot water side if it doesnt check the diverter valve operation and the thermisters

hi, if you are using a mid port valve on the system then this could be the problem, most valves have a manual lever try moving it to either position and see if the results change, if so suggest changing it. most valves have a relpacement head so no need to drain down to replace just a matter of unclipping and swapping a few wires
