fill it to the brim with diesel,keep trying it til it starts then take it for a run and drive it as normal til its almost empty before filling it again,it will be down on power and spluttery but should work ok

Don't start the car or turn on the ignition. Get the tank drained and refill with diesel. Get your son to pay the bill. That way he shouldn't do it again.
