The fastening catch keeps coming open and the watch falls off my wrist. Can this catch be replaced for my jeweller to fix? On the back are as follows: 697000 CAL.6822 SR621SW Japan

Take it to a local Jeweller/Watchmaker for an estimate, if it is a simple mechanical problem they may fix it easily - if not they can advise on the cost of a replacement part etc.
