"SAMSUNG UPRIGHT 1600" ELECTRIC SHOCKS?

I keep getting electric shocks whilst using Samsung vacuum cleaner. The Samsung website is a waste of time, so I was wondering if anyone knew of the cause? It is 9 months old

Samsung upright Hoover gave me a small shock after being unplugged. The hoover is only 6-8 months old and was purchased in 2016. I can only assume the device held a charge as it was the plug that gave me the shock as I was wrapping the cord away-I felt a small shock and as I held the plug it shocked me again.. this is far from acceptable and I can't find anything on the Samsung website explaining why this has happened..BACK TO THE GOOD OLD HENRY

if a fault why don't the fuse blow ?
most machines today are plastic and double insulated could your carpet be high nylon content and you are causing a static build up
