Driver's window on Renault Megane down and won't go back up?

Had the same problem with the passenger window 8 weeks, replaced sensor etc, very expensive. We are looking to change the car so do not want to spend the repair money, any suggestions on a temporary repair, so we can part ex.

remove door trim push window back up. you may have to undo a few window reg bolts, tighten up bolts when window up, dont use window again. run from car dealer.
