how to fix my ghd 4.2 B, jemella limited?

i had my ghd's on and then i went downstairs and i thought i turned them off, so when i came back up to finish off my hair, they were still on but cold, and now whenever i turn them on, the light comes on but they dont heat up, i have heard of the sleep mode but when i turn them off and on again, it makes no difference.

My 4.2b is completely dead i think... or its just da switch that maybe faulty. When i switch my 4.2b on LED doesnt light up nor do the plates heat up :S, could anyone link me to a site where it shows you how 2 disassemble the 4.2b?

They turn off after 30 mins and you get a flashing amber coloured light.. Just move the on/off swich to off then on to reset them.. So many people are having problems with the flashing lights.. I am novice to GHD's, but have sussed out so much about people thinking they are not working, and there is nothing wrong with them

I have a ghd 4.2b and it works fine ( Yay! ) but am confused at all the beeping and lights. I turn them on and they beep and the light continually flashes red. after being on for about 20 seconds they beep again while the light is still flashing red. then half an hour later they beep again and the flashing red light turns into a green light. Huh???? is it trying to forewarn me about something?
