How do I oil a Bernina Minimaic 807?

I have a Bernina Minimatic 807 which has not been used for a while. I want to use it, and have the instructions for oiling, but cannot get the top off. Is there a secret button somewhere? Brute force is not the answer.

Mae's answer from 2009 is the right answer. The "button" doesn't look much like a button, it's up near the top. Push in and lift top. Clean and easy. Do Not use brute force.

UInfortunately sometimes brute force is the answer because there are spring clips under the top, oil with WD40 on all moving parts that you can see.
