Whirling noise and a constant tinkling?

On the way home a loud noise from the crank case and bike cut out.

I have replaced the rollers, and the front pulley disk (the fins had almost all gone and retaining nut was almost off, so replace, both finned plate and nut) belt is fine, cleaned all parts, filed off aluminum (from fins) which had melted on to plate on cam case which holds the kick start gears and rebuilt. Now when I start up I get a short whirling noise and a constant tinkling from the front of the case. However scooter starts up fine, but for the noises, which I would like to sort before something else goes. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, Alan. Bike is a Gilera Runner FX 125 2 Stroke X Reg 2000.

I would suggest something internal is about to go. May need a engine strip down as you big end may be about to pop! One thing though have you checkd your engine oil levels. if ok change oil and see if the old oil is clear or has it got an metal bits in it. If it has get repaired before further damage is caused.
