Speedometer on citroen c5 faulty?

My speedometer works intermitently, one day it will be recording accuratly another day recording 20/30 m/h below correct speed with no shake in speedometer needle, but generally it does not work at all. My rev counter and odometer are working accuratly.

I had the same problem with my citroen speedometer sent it to a company called www.cartronix.co.uk they repaired it and sent it back to me the next day with a 2 year warranty. Very helpful people.

It is a defect shaft (in the green gear wheel) Replace with a 1.2 or 1.4 mm nail, (Glue it)
