Can anyone advise how easy (or not) it is to replace the wash motor pump on?

My dishwasher starts ok and will start to fill with water. As it cycles the unit cuts out. The NEFF engineer has diagnosed a new wash motor pump unit. Can anyone advise how easy this is to repair and what specific tools required? Thanks all !
