my rotary arm keeps going?

my rotary arm has gone 2 times i have had it changed also i had a distributor cap done could you tell me why its going every few weeks

It could be the wrong rotor arm that you have been supplied with...it could be worth buying the correct arm plus cap as a pair from a main dealer, rather than the pattern part lottery.
