Joe, most snapper mowers have a drive disk on the underside rear, behind the mowing deck. The disk is a metal pulley covered with a rubber wheel. The rubber wheel makes contact with a round disk that turns the wheels. The rubber part becomes hard, cracked or glazed. This can be purchased from most mower part dealers and is easily replaced.
