The button located under the handle has stuck and as a result the additional steam mode is on constantly producing steam. This results in the water in the reservoir being used up quickly and the lead from the iron to the heater unit becoming very hot. I am unable to use the iron.

how can i get a replacement handle for my pro express iron

Hi friends, Wifee's Soleplate has worn through on her Tefal Pro Express Terbo 2941. I have reasonable Basic Electric and Engineering Skills. No 1, please is it possible to obtain just a replacement soleplate, and No 2, are there any hidden or extreamly difficult problems to overcome when fitting new one, i.e special headed screws or gaskets or seals to be replaced.
