My Husqvarna 125 will not run right?

When I have it idling in full choke or half choke and press the throttle it dies. It ran fine last year. I mixed 2.5 oz oil to 1 gal of fuel. Oh, the tank was empty before I added fuel mixture. It ran for about a minute the first time but now it just dies. I replaced the spark plug and still the same thing happens.

Kevin,
Did you ever figure it out? I'm having the same problem with my HQ 125. It idles fine but when i give it juice it dies to an idle. Air filter is fine and the muffler looks clear. Its less than a year old (not much use).

kevin? have you checked the air filter? it's located under the handle cover held on by a knob that you turn. check this always when it doesn't run right another thing it could be is your muffler is plugged up if it isn't the air filter , remove the muffler and look inside it , it might be full of carbon restricting the exhaust
