i have a briggs and stratton petrol lawnmower and after 5 minutes use its cuts out,then i have to leave it for around 30 minutes until its starts again then same again it will run for 5 minutes and i have to leave it again any help would be greatly apreciated many thanks paul.

This sounds like fuel shortage - check the fuel pipe, any filters that may be in there, and finally you may need to take the carburettor off to clean the float needle valve.
