Ford transit van is locked?

Hi I have a 2004 transit van and the central locking has stopped working on the side and rear doors. The problem is they are locked and there is a full height bulkhead in my way too. I have checked both the blue fuses and they are ok, how can I get in the back please?

Just put the key into door as normal but instead of turning the key once double turn it as quick as you can to lock it just turn it once as normal,,Peterd

hi mate, this is a trickey one.... rite,im going to assume the side and rear doors both stopped working at the same time. if this is so it is unlikely to be a fuse fault but if you know different make sure you have a supply voltage to both sides of the afore mentioned fuse with a appropiate test lamp. if you have supply then what you need to do is get hold of a wiring diagramme (haynes manual) and establish the wiring from doors to control unit.... as a general rule central locking works by reversing polarity (switching positive and negative) to unlock & lock....when you have got the wiring codes you will need to test from the control unit to see if it is operating correctly...if it is then the problem is either the wiring from the unit to rear or the actuating solenoids in the doors. other than that drill a hole in the panel behind the front seats and use stiff wire like fence wire to manually unlock the doors you can then plug the hole with a rubber grommet... hope this helps mate
