I have a regular size couch with a pull out bed (metal frame). Well, the frame is hitting the floor and there is a heavy spring section broken off which I doubt I could fix myself. I would like to fix it with wood and brackets. Does this sound possible? Also, as we do not use the bed part the frame seems to be holding up the rest of the couch. Any luck for this old piece? Thank You
