the flush assembly on my thetford cassette porta potti c4 seems to have water leaking from it, there is water standing around the flush knob everytime we flush the toilet is there a seal fitted to this flush knob or could i be filling the water funnel assembly to much.it only seems to be happening just recently

Sounds like it needs new seals I take it its the same as mine manual flush. Follow these instructions.
