fixing a brother pe-150 sewing machine?

My Brother PE-150 sewing machine is not picking up the bobbin thread and diplays an error message about the upper and lower thread, how can it be fixed?

Sounds like the machine needs retiming, I can attach timing instructions if you email me but you will have to get my email address from any answer from page 25 down because this site no longer allows email addresses to be shown.
