my focus is misfiring like mad at all speeds and losing a lot of power?

my ford focus is misfiring alot at all speeds and has lost a lot of power. its a 99 lx petrol. i have changed spark plugs and ive had a new exaust fitted. can any one help me please?

WHEN YOU REPLACED THE PLUGS YOU SHOULD HAVE REPLACED THE PLUG WIRES TOO .....

If the engine management light is on, I guess it needs a new coil pack. Very common.
