how to change oil in a Y reg xsara?

how do u change the oil in a citroen xsara Y reg

Its a fairly easy job, Make sure you warm engine up so the oil can drain easily if the engine is cold it thicker and takes longer to drain,
Make sure car is secure then have a large bowl something like a washing up bowl handy next to you then look for the sump drainage plug underneath the sump.
Take out sump plug but make sure your bowl is underneath it when you do it as oil will come rushing out, When oil is completely drained off replace sump nut and tighten, I.e note that if you dont change the filter at the same time its really worthless as the new oil will be partially contaminated with the old oil and its deposits!
