For some reason my Y reg Vito wont accelerate past 3000rpm in any gear. Just had it in the garage and had 3 glow plugs replaced but thats all, any ideas?

hi mate,this is a bit of a long shot and anyone who reads this will think ive just come in off the last bananna boat!!....modern diesils are governed in numerous ways......for instance, when reverse gear is engaged it also governs the injection system to prevent over speeding whilst reversing.... have a peek to see if your reverse lights are working as they should
......its worth a shot,if this dont help ill get mee fishing rod and get back on da boat
