I cannot see the multi function display all that is visible is speedo. Also when driving i momentarily lose power. Is this a regular problem do I need to see a citroen dealer only

Replace bulbs on the back light of the diplay. the black moulding have 3 holes in the top, just put something like a small screwdriwer intwo of the holes and pull towards you, it will clip out, loosen two torx screws on thee sides and pull the hole display unit fowward. Check witch bulbs is not used by the spesific model eg. the 16i petrol don't use the pre heating light and use that one or get some from the dealer. twist and replace.

It seems that you have a power problem check your battery abd altenator. i have the same problem with the display unit but only on the right hand side

Have you tried pressing the day/night buton on the left hand side of the display? It looks like a circle, half black, half white. This flicks between normal display and just speedo. Hope this helps.
