Kitchen waste?

Our new garbage disposer is 2" shorter than the old one. Can I buy a 2" extension to join it to the trap, and if so what do I ask for?

Normally Mark, we would connect the waste disposal unit to the sink outlet, and then alter the pipework to suit the new appliance.....likely to be easier that way.
