rover 25 1. 4 loses power intermittintly esp after starting and driving away , feels like fuel has been cut . pump pedal a very couple of times and it returns to normal running , only happens every now and again .

Its know to some mechanics as a Blank spot where you throttle up and theres nothing there, this can be put down to crap been in your fuel tank! it happens if you run the tank to low and your pump sucks up the likes of rust and water,
If you have a fuel filter make sure you change it and dont let the tank run into the red!
