peugeot 306 estate?

my tailgate will not open manualy with key, or remote with key, all the other doors operate normally, how can i open the tailgate so i can look at the lock and solernoid ??

Climb into the boot space via the rear seats - you should be able to flick the linkage with a screwdriver from there.
