The most likely cause is the valve assembly -what Aqualisa call the cartridge. If it's within warranty, they will come out and replace it for you. If not you're looking at paying approx. up to £100. I think they have their own engineers who can come out to your property and replace the cartridge for you.

You may have a problem with this one - these showers have a ceramic cartridge to adjust and turn off the water flow and as far as I know the individual parts aren't available - especially if yours is the older type 200 or 400 range. Mine does the same, so I just let the shower head rest in the shower tray!
