My AEG Santo 72348 is not cooling properly. It goes quiet then the temperature goes up to 13/14 for a few hours, then it clicks on again. The square fault indicator on the control panel has not come on. The AEG service team replaced the circuit board but this made no difference. Sometimes it feels cold even when the LED reads 13/14.

Hello - we had this problem too and also replaced the control panel without success, before the fridge was completely reassembled. We noticed that there is a magnetic 'reed' switch at the top of the door that seems to register door closure. We had some quite strong decorative magnets quite near the top of the door. We have taken these off and the fridge seems to be working normally (first day - so watch this space) If you have any magnets on the door try taking them off. It is at least easy and free...
