Clutch slave cylinder replacement Rover 75 tourer?

Does this need the enbgine out or just the transmission? I had the master done a few weeks ago, but was told engine out for the slave. Sounds expensive, unless I can do it at home (I am competent, but out of practice)

you wont need the engine out to replace it, if you can get to the clutch from underneath the car.
