do I use permatex on carburator gaskets?

How many gaskets do I need for my carburator? It`s a Briggs & stratton. Model # 289707. Thank You

I think the 289700 series only has a carb to manifold gasket, plus an 'o' ring for the carburettor float bowl - and you can usually get away without replacing either. No gasket sealant should be used.
