It's just vibration. Move the grill pan slightly and it should stop.

haven't solved it as such but found closing the door on the grill for abot 20 seconds and re-opening seems to stop the noise most of the time.
it's something to do with the cooling fan and i've been told it's not dangerous. (just v annoying)

We have an stoves newhome slidlm that makes this annoying noise from the grill too. What I would suggest is to take out the grill pan for the first 10-20 seconds after lighting because this is what makes the noise. I think it`s something to do with the resonance after lighting??

We have a stoves 550, its doing the same thing, did you find out what the problem was
