I have a Bosch tumble dryer ( condenser type ) and over the weekend it blew a 13a fuse.

Part No.WTE 86304GB

Fuse replaced and the machine's rotated for around 5 seconds ( but was very lumpy in it's action - not smooth sounding ) then popped the fuse again.

Before I go headlong into taking it to bits ( i'm an Elec engineer ) is it woth just buying a new one if the repair is going to be £150 +?

Any thoughts ? What should I check first ? Motor maybe ??
