Air Conditioning Citroen Xsara Picasso 2001 model?

I have a Citroen Xsara Picasso with climate control air con that has stop working is there any simple way of repairing this problem

its either the blower/fan motor or its the igition swicth that has gone, fan appox £90 switch £ 175 fitted

my citroen piscsso 53 reg 1.8 a/c motor won't kick in when i switch it on.. the motor will work when engine gets hot
