For the Side Airbag light;
Under the seat is a common orange wire that comes loose. Way to deal with it;
1) Take the battery power lead off
2) Wait 10 - 30 minutes
3) Get some wd40 type product, pull the seats forward both passenger and driver seat
4) Open the front window, take the car out of gear
5) Under the seats open every cable and spray with WD40 and rejoin them, there will be a big block (silver and black) there will be a load of others too (about 3/4)
6) Once sprayed both terminal sides and rejoined back move the seats to the desired space for seating
7) Put the battery back on
8) From outside of the car (enusure not in gear) and turn the car over from outside
9) Side airbag light should be off
10) If not take battery off for 10 mins again, cut all the wires one by one under the seats, use terminal blocks (small) or soldering and rejoin, be careful not to put the wrong ones together as some of them are the same colour so take your time!!!Inuslate the blocks/solder with insulating tape
11) From outside the car (ensure its not in gear) try again, it should of gone out.....if not.....
12) Take the battery of again and wait 10 mins...take the three hex bolts of under the steering wheel, pull the casing off the steering wheel
13) Behind the ignition key there is a orange cable attached to a black cable to the steering wheel restraint module, pull the orage cable off cable of with long pliers
14) Spray with WD40 again rejoin it
15) Put the casing back together
16) Put the battery back in place
17) from outside the car (ensure not in gear) flick her over, it should be out
18) If not out now, u need to go to a dealer as it may be the pretensioners in the seatbelt system or the airbag directly in the doorways and I have not ventured that far!
Hope that helps
