Compressor or simple adjustment?

I have a Kitchenaid Bottom Freezer refrigerator 1994 model. We just replaced it and gave it to our Son and family. In loading it and transport it got dropped while strapped to the furniture dolly so the impact was on the dolly wheels mostly. It was dropped from about 18inches off the ground when trying to pull it onto the pickup. The unit remained upright the entire time. Anyway, he got it home and now the compressor will not come on and when it did once it was noisy, but mostly you hear a click as in trying to work. The fan runs and interior light works. Is there anything else that it could be besides that the compressor could be toast. Reset switch?, electrical problem?, adjustment of some sort? Please repsond.
