The gearbox has been crunching in 1st & 2n. I stopped to turn right went to put it in first and there are no gears at all. I've cheched the linkages are connected and they are , the fault is definately in the box. Can anyone suggest a way of repairing gearbox as I've only had the van 3 weeks & could do without buying a box.?

I've heard several possibilities 1, the selector cables seize and don't work properly, 2. differential's packin in and 3rd and most probable is that the sync has done in the box itself.

This may be a relatively cheap repair, depending it needs a good gearbox mechanic to have a look...

sounds like syncros have gone in most gears. I am having the same problem. beware, there are several types of box. don't buy the wrong one as I did. Now I'm stuck with 2 useless gearboxes!!!
